FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does BullBet work?
First of all, please rate the future development of a value, e.g. Indexes (DAX), a stock (Allianz) or a currency (EURO/Dollar).
Please decide now where you think this value will be in 5 hours, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours or at the end of the stock exchange day. (stocks by the time of stock exchange, Dax Index at 10pm). Will the value be higher or lower?
Have you made your decision? Place your bet by clicking the note, choose your amount of betting slips and click set to send your bet.
If you were right at the end of your period, the number of betting slips will be multiplied by your odds (see “what does odds mean?”) and will find its way on your account immediately.
Please note that you can also work with Limits and Stops. That means, YOU decide from what odds on your bet has to be on a daily basis. Limits and Stops will be deleted at 10:15 of the stock trading day.
Do I have to be a stock markets expert?
No. Our concept is simple enough to guarantee that everybody has the same chances to win. Everyone can learn and understand this kind of betting without further background knowledge. Just have a guess where the stock / index will be at your date of expiration and place your bet.
Additionally, we offer some tips to help you making your decision on our website, e.g. an economic calendar and RSS-Feeds (news).
What does odds mean?
The odds (your wager) is the amount of money you are placing to get your fix profit multiplied by the number of your betting slips – in case you win, and provided that your goal will be reached by the end of your period of time. If your guess is wrong, your virtual wager is worthless.
The odds are constantly changing. However, if you placed your tip, your odds for your bet as well as your possible profit remain the same that they were when you were placing the bet.
How can I place a bet?
If you have chosen your favourite bet, e.g. a stock, commodity etc., you only have to decide if the value of your bet will be higher or lower at the end of your defined period of time. You might raise your chances to win by raising the number of betting slips (500 EUR max). After that, you place your bet. You always see what you are placing and what you could possibly win before placing your bet.
Depending on which period of time you have chosen (5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours or the end of the day), you have the chance to see if you are winning or loosing by clicking History.
After expiration your profit will be transferred to your account immediately.
Are the prices live and up to date?
Yes, the prices are taken from the real stock markets. There are no time delays. Nobody can see prices that are more up to date than yours.
What is the difference between price indicators and market prices
We offer live prices only to our values (Indexes and market prices). These are as up to date as they possibly can and are given to you free of charge. However, please note that price indicators can possibly vary from the original prices on a minimal basis due to small delays in data transmission.
What data are valid when assessing profits?
When assesing profits, the price indicators on our website are valid. If there is a “real” stock market or index price by the time we are assessing profits, you will get your wager back if you have betted on that moment in which the “real” price occurred. If you have betted on the time frame in which the indication occurred, you will get your full profit.
Are there any limits?
You can place min. 5€ and max 500€ per bet. Please note that you might loose your whole wager. For this reason please do always consider your financial situation. BullBet reserves the right to set limits for you.
If you want to change the limit, please contact info@bullbet.de.
Do I have to pay duty for my profits?
Our bets are brought to you as a society bet based on Austrian law. According to e.g. German law, you do not have to pay duty. Börsenwetten does not assume liability for this information. It is your obligation to check the betting circumstances in your home country. If you have to pay duty from your betting profits, you have to inform your loca financial authority. We do not send any reports to financial authorities for you
