A bet is defined by two partners (customer and bookmaker) finding together and having different attitudes towards the result of a certain event and negotiate a price. This price will be payed to the partner with the correct answer after the event took place.
Finawin offers a great number of bets on sport events. Excitement and love of the game are important parts of a sports bet. The attractive thing about sports bets is to use one´s knowledge and skills to be the successful winner of the bet. For the majority of our customers sports bets are a nice and exciting hobby which does not affect one´s mind as long as one bets on a reasonable basis.
However, a very small number of people tends to reflect angst, desires or personal situations in his or her gaming and tries to solve personal problems through betting and gambling. This is the same phenomenon as it is with other improper instruments to solve problems suchs as excessive alcohol abuse or the excessive exertion of hobbies etc.
For our customers we offer a number of measures to prevent addiction and also to prevent our customers from financial damages and the abuse of his personal data.
Measures to prevent customers from addiction and abuse:
1. Limitation of wagers
Finawin defines that the wagers accepted in the licence shops may not be over EUR 1.000 per bet. The maximum profit is set to be EUR20.000, so the maximum wager for eacht bet depends on the odds.
2. Personal wager limit
Each customer has the opportunity (alongside the limitation of wagers) to set a personal wager limit per week. This can be done directly inside the licence shops or by telephone or in written form.
A self-defined limit can only be raised by a customer´s order in written form. Increases by phone or the internet are not possible. Of course lowering your limit is possible at any time. This measure makes it more difficult to raise one´s limit but is also a great barrier to prevent users from excessive gambling and damage.
